Hurulingzhi (Common name) is a kind of folk medicinal fungi. Chinese physicians of Hong Kong use the sclcrotium of Hurulingzhi to treat liver cancer, chronic hepatitis and gastric ulcer. But we do not know its correct scientific name. The taxonomy research result showed that the scientific name of Hurulingzhi was Polyporus rhinocerus Cooke [ = Lignosus rhinoerus (Cooke)) Ryv. It belongs to Eumycota, Basidiomycotina, Hymeno-mycetes, Aphyllophorales, Polyporaceae, Polyporus or Lignosus.
